*** UPDATE 8:41 am *** The Odessa American is reportering that a spokeswoman with Odessa Emergency Dispatch said so far there have been 5 calls for water rescue, 7 for stranded motorists.
Midland dispatch is reporting that they are "currently" working 5 total water rescue/stranded motoriest. *****
CBS 7 crews are responding to several areas of in Midland/Odessa area.
We have crews on the scene at what is being called a “high water rescue” near 31st and Dixie.
We have reports that westbound HWY 80 between east loop 338 and Newell Road is under water.
Other areas to avoid in Midland, Odessa and Big Spring: Neely and Garfield Princeton and Garfield Wadley and Midkiff Scharbauer&Lamesa Highway 80 Interstate 20&1788 Dixie and 42nd and near San Jacinto Park in Odessa
