Midland, Texas - The City of Midland is planning to revitalize various parks around town.
Today City Council will be considering putting out for bids for labor and materials for new playground equipment at Butler, Grafa, House, Pioneer, Sparks, Ulmer and Hogan Parks.
The massive project also includes: trash cans, benches, picnic tables, barbecue grills, shade structures and other upgrades.
Council will also be considering the purchase of 9 Local Area Outdoor Weather Warning Systems and the appropriating of $200,000 for Hike and Bike Trail development.
